You like Tetris? Its non-threatening unassuming, you hum the song when loading the dishwasher and chances are someone in your family is somehow infinitely better at it than you...So yes you like Tetris.
How do you feel about Puyo Puyo? Never heard of it? You may know it as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine...Drawing a blank on who Dr. Robotnik is? He is now known as Dr. Eggman. Back to Puyo Puyo! For those who are still drawing a blank on DRMBN and Puyo Puyo the objective is simple, cluster 4 or more of the same color puyos and they pop! Come to think of it its basically Dr. Mario.
So we have a Tetris, we have Puyo Puyo put them together and its Puyo Puyo Tetris time! I played both games independent of the other for a little while then decided to give fusion a try. When I was doing good its beautiful and really fun , but when I did poorly I wondered if I had some sort of debilitating brain disorder. However that made it fun, I never would have guessed I'd be excited to keep trying this devil-ish puzzler.
If you are into puzzle games I'd recommend downloading the demo and giving it a whirl; the full game digital was 30 bucks and change so that is a fairly steep price if you don't like it. I like it, I grew up on Tetris and I can see myself growing to love Puyo Puyo.
