Now that the cinematic are out of the way, you should absolutely watch this anime, at only 13 episodes it is a quick series that will leave you on the edge of your seat. It starts as a fish out of water, slice of life anime and then there comes a hook that leaves you wanting more. I don't want to get into spoilers, but I am sure you would love this series. There is a little fan service in a few episodes but don't let that stop you. One episode has more of it than others, but that episode deals with a true military raised man realizing he might have feelings for a girl, something the military did not smile upon. I wish there was a second series, but this series ends perfectly it wraps up the character arcs very nicely and the last episode makes sure that you get hit in the feels. It was a nice refreshing change of pace to have a mecha anime, not be focused on mecha battles like so many before it.

Should you have the chance I would for sure check this series out.
