First off, this anime title and its cover art are very misleading (in a good way). Sakuta Azusagawa is a High School student who is viewed differently by his peers due to a rumor that is spread around his school. One day as he is out and about, he notices a girl who is in the class above him dressed in a bunny suit walking in public trying to get people's attention, yet no one seems to notice her. While she informs him to stay away, his curiosity gets the best of them and they soon begin a friendship surrounded with a great mystery simply known as adolescence syndrome that can affect individuals in many different ways.
In this series, adolescence syndrome is a phenomenon that is compared to many different theoretical physic concepts such as the idea of Schrodinger cat, and quantum entanglement. If you are a science buff, you will definitely enjoy this work. In addition to this deep intellectual feel, there is also a cute and sarcastic relationship that develops between characters that you cant help but smile and laugh at.
While Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is definitely a slice of life genre piece, it’s also a truly adorable romance as well. You can’t help but fall in love with the character, learn theoretical physics, and get punched in the feels multiple times (in a good way though). Because of this, I give the series 4.5 out of 5 stars. Take a look for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
