The Devil Is a Part-Timer! (はたらく魔王さま! Hataraku Maō-sama!

So… what happens when the Lord of demons gets his butt kicked by the forces of light? Well naturally he gets banished to modern day Japan right? Well, that's what The Devil is a Part Timer is about. Sadao Maou (aka The Devil) is defeated by Emilia the Hero in a final battle and in order to survive, he and his trusty 2nd in command escape in a portal to modern day Tokyo. Lost and with no army to rule over, the two assume Japanese identities and attempt to begin their comeback. This would work great except for two drawbacks: 1. Emilia the Hero followed them through the wormhole, and 2. they all have extremely limited powers!

As a result, all three champions find themselves in a new world with limited qualifications and having to make ends meet. A natural result of his lack of qualifications places the King of Demons flipping burgers at McRonalds (a blatant McDonalds rip off) attempting to save money for his revenge all while having to deal with the now less threatening Hero who slowly begins to recognize Satan is not as evil a figure and opponent she thought. All the while trying to figure out a number of life scenarios and fighting off evil doers from their own homeworld.

This series is a great blend genres. In it you can find Fantasy, Slice of Life, and Comedy all at the same time. If you are looking for a fun and upbeat watch, I would highly recommend it. I give the series a solid 4 out of 5 stars. While there are a few NSFW shower scenes, this series remains clean while still having a great sense of humor.
